We Made It To Boston!!
Yesterday I rode the last 18 miles to Boston Massachusetts.
After 50 days of biking and 3,402 miles I dipped my front wheel into the Atlantic Ocean.
Keep an eye out for pictures I will be posting later today, of the last day.

Almost There...
It is Thursday and we are in Battleboro, Vermont.
I had a great ride through the Vermont Mountains yesterday.
Today we ride through New Hampshire and onto Massachusetts, and tomorrow will be our final day of riding to the Atlantic Coast.

Seeing Family in Vermont
While I was in Vermont I had the change to see some of my family that lives in the area.
My wife Beryl was also able to meet me in Vermont. She will be going ahead to Boston Massachusetts to be there as I finish my 50 day journey across America.
Here are some of the photos we took that day.

Niles Ohio
We are in Niles Ohio today, and on to Lake Erie tomorrow.
Everything is going well. Tomorrow will be our last rest stop in Erie, Pennsylvania.
In a few days my daughter Lindsey will join me for the last few days of the trip. She will meet me in Syracuse, NY and ride the final 500 miles to Boston.
Thank you all for reading and commenting on my blog during this trip.

Richmond Indiana, Tomorrow Ohio
It's Saturday and we're in Richmond, Indiana.
Crossing the Mississippi River a few days back was real exciting. The ride is great fun, somewhat like a military campaign --- relentless everyday. We get up, prep for the day, then its fun and games on the bike with the rest of the kids.
The other day we all did helmet decorations and all the kids we passed wanted to go with us. But we said, "No, you have to be at least 50 and have some level of lack of responsibility in your past to qualify."

So on we go east to Boston, this trip is highly recommended. In addition to being physical it is just as much mental. A fabulous experience with an outstanding group of people from all over the world.

The Mississippi
Over the mighty Mississippi river today now we are in Quincy, Illinois. Very windy all day, right on our face makes for a tough ride. But nothing compared to the folks who walked across the country. Great
group of 23 riders really working together. Wonderful pace to see USA, and great fun and lots of chocolate shakes. Rolling east.
